2048 Solitaire deals the familiar doubling ladder one card at a time and asks a quieter question than the grid game: not "which way do I swipe?" but "where does this card belong?" • The next-card preview is the game. Placing the current card well means placing it FOR the next one - two-card lookahead beats any stacking rule.
• Build descending stacks. A stack running 256-128-64 from the bottom is a loaded spring: one 64 fires the whole cascade.
